The Cubs begin the year with a new manager as Lucas Athey takes the reins from the retiring Stan Peterson.  Athey has been coaching youth teams in the Mora area and is a former town ball player who says he's excited about the new opportunity.

The Cubs are focusing on building a core of players who will be committed to play throughout the season, and build some team chemistry to put some bigger numbers in the wins column. The team has been doing a lot of work to improve the field and is hoping to have a new scoreboard up and in use this year!  Watch for new faces, new energy and a new direction for the Cubs this year!
