We thank all of you for your support of our team.

 Friday night the Bandits pulled in to play the Blaine Fusion, the result of the game being a 10 to 8 loss for the Bandits.  But it was another game this week where the Bandits showed definite improvement.  Pitching and defense was not quite what we hoped for although Steve Jelmberg came in and pitched the last 5 innings and pitched very well.  The Bandits had a good hitting attack for the second game in a row picking up another 12 hits in the game, led by Mitch Minning who was 4 for 5 in the game.  The RBI streak does come to a close for Mitch.  We did have a key hit in the game by  Jim Dunham.  Given the fact that the Bandits have a lot of new players this year, most of which who haven't played baseball for a couple of years, the team is really beginning to come together.  The Bandits finished up the month of May with 2 games that were very competitive against strong Metro Minny teams that made state tournament appearances last year.  We have high expectations for the month of June.  Closing out the month of May it has truly been a pleasure playing the very good and well-balanced teams of the Metro Minny that have appeared on our schedule so far this year.  We hope everyone has a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend and we'll see you in June.
